My mission is to visually tell and deploy the authentic human stories that are the genuine result of my client's products and vision.My philosophy is rooted in documentary filmmaking and non-fiction storytelling. In my work I emphasize the deeply embedded human qualities that are often eliminated in traditional marketing and commercial video production. While most of the original content created on brand video pages aims for shock value or quirky humor, I offer an alternative by appealing to humanity not vanity.

In preparing for this project I wanted to capture the unique aesthetic and flavor Parker Litchfield and his team have pumped into their small business. I decided that using the natural beauty of the landscape in the Utah mountains as well as photos from the National Archives could better help viewers understand the products from Stock and Barrel Co.

Clary Sage College needed a series of 1-2 minute videos for their website to give potential students a quick look at what programs were offered and what they entailed. In learning more about the programs and the students the easier it became to show them off. Clary Sage is a remarkable institution and I am proud to have contributed to their mission.

Summarizing Jackie's story into just a few minutes seemed impossible. We had a great interview, and I was impressed by Jackie's humility and sincerity. Like all my projects, I left this one feeling I had captured something beyond commercial material.
